SEMILAT: The Semantic Similarity Annotation Tool
SEMILAT is a Java UI Tool to annotate relations of semantic similarity between sentences of short length.
It is part of a larger software toolkit, called SEMILAR, for investigating the SEMantic simILARity of texts.
SEMILAT was used to annotate the SIMILAR Corpus, containing 701 pairs of annotated sentences.
The interface of SEMILAT is simple and straightforward, composed of one main window with two tabs, "Project Select"
and "Data View", and a second window, accessible from the "Data View" tab (see "Match & Annotate" within the "Instance Tools" panel)
where users can manually annotate the relations.
You can also download here the project files of the SEMILAR corpus. This way, you
can visualize, review and even modify the annotations that we made in the corpus.
